Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for a law student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of legal advisory, counsel, and operations. The intern will work closely with our legal team to support daily client operations, conduct research, and assist in drafting legal documents.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Advisory & Research
- Legal Research: Conduct research on various legal topics, including case law, statutes, and regulations, to support the legal team’s advisory work.
- Memoranda Preparation: Assist in drafting legal memoranda, briefs, and reports that provide guidance on specific legal issues or questions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Help monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the client companies, providing research support on compliance matters.
Legal Operations
- Document Management: Assist in managing the legal department’s documents and records, ensuring all materials are filed accurately and securely.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and optimization of legal processes, including workflow management and documentation practices.
- Technology Use: Learn and utilize legal technology tools to assist with legal operations, document management, and communication within the legal team.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and managing calendars.
Legal Counsel Support
- Document Drafting: Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents under the supervision of senior legal staff.
- Case Preparation: Support the legal team in preparing for meetings, hearings, and negotiations by organizing documents and conducting preliminary research.
- Contract Management: Help maintain and organize contract files, ensuring that documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Collaboration & Learning
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various departments such as HR, Finance, and Compliance, gaining exposure to different aspects of the business.
- Mentorship: Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced legal professionals, providing insights into career development and best practices in the legal field.

Qualifications
- Education: Current law student (2L or 3L preferred) or recent graduate with a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
